Sexual Harassment eStart™ covers critical issues related to providing a productive and positive work environment for all employees. Foodservice operators must do more to address sexual harassment and Sexual Harassment eStart™ provides explanatory background for harassment specific to the service industry. Employees learn what harassment is and isn't, how to prevent it, how to report it and how to correct it.
With Sexual Harassment eStart™, operators are able to teach crew level staff the parameters of appropriate behavior and combat a pervasive industry-wide epidemic. Implementing this proactive approach to workplace safety may reduce overall liability in a climate of bad behavior and litigation.
The engaging and interactive course is 60-70 minutes in length and concludes with a randomized 20-question assessment. Upon successfully completing the course and assessment, each student receives a printable Certificate of Achievement. This course can be used to satisfy the non-supervisory sexual harassment training required by California (AB 1825, AB 2053, SB 396, SB 1300, SB 1343), Delaware (HB 360), Illinois (SB 75), Maine (ME Employment Laws Revised Statute, Title 26, Section 807) and
New York (NY Human Rights Law section 296.1, NYC Stop Sexual Harassment Act).
